Dancing cats, a celebration of cats in motion.

New gallery project from Mont Blanc Photography

Do you have a young kitten or young cat who is EXTREMELY playful and you’d love to capture that special kitten type of behaviour. Then this might be the project for you. Here I’m launching my new gallery show, designed to celebrate the movement of cats, called dancing cats.

This is a time limited project, where I will take on only 15 clients, with young and very active kittens. All colours and types will be accepted as long as the kittens are very active, and will move, jump, reach for toys and general play and cause chaos in the studio. With the aim of capturing the movement in using very special and technically challenging lighting methods in my studio at St Prex, designed to show their movement through slow motion captures. The photoshoot will also be used to give some classical fine art portraits to each cat parent as part of the session, so that you have something to hang on your walls, or put on your coffee table to truly celebrate your cat.

In order for me to use the motion photos for the gallery, you’ll need to sign a model contract covering the motion photos only, allowing me to display and sell them in the gallery. As compensation, you will receive one A5 artist’s proof print worth 400 chf, from a limited edition of 13. And to allow you to invest in further classical portraits in your gallery (private photos just for you) I will offer the photoshoot, and add on a 100 chf credit towards your purchases.

Please note, this is not a get it all for free model call. This is designed for cat parents who wish to invest in further photos of their cats as part of the project. I don’t sell or give away digital files at all…but for each photo purchased I will give the complimentary photo as a web resolution jpg for you to have on your devices and share on your social media.
