Luxury Fine Art Animal Photography in Switzerland: A Bespoke Experience for Dogs, Cats, and Horses
Among Switzerland’s Most Sought-After Luxury Pet Photographers
Animal photography is more than capturing an image — it is about telling a story, preserving a bond, and creating timeless art. As a specialist in fine art dog, cat, and horse photography, serving discerning clients across Switzerland, I create bespoke artwork that transforms the spirit of your animal into something tangible, meaningful, and enduring - providing you with stylish lasting memories of your beloved animal.
My work is not about volume or quick snapshots. Instead, I offer a luxury fine art experience: one that is fully customised to reflect both your pet’s character and your home’s aesthetic. From the first consultation to the final production of your artwork, every detail is thoughtfully designed for you. I take my time during your photoshoot, and so there is no time limit and no rushing your animal. I only take on a limited number of clients, so that you get my full and unhurried attention.
Three of the most important reasons why my high end clients choose me, is purely because:
My photography style is truly unique and based on giving your timeless fine art imagery.
They know they will get a white glove, bespoke experience, designed to fit their needs.
I work with your animal’s needs, desires and comfort levels. I take animal behaviour very seriously, and always with with them, to make sure they are comfortable and well looked after throughout.

Switzerland’s Only Fully Customised, Design-Led Luxury Animal Photography Studio
What makes this work unique is not just the artistry of the photography, but the design-based approach behind it. Each session begins with understanding your vision, your interior design style, and your animal’s personality.
This allows me to create portraits that are not only true to your dog, cat, or horse — but also seamlessly integrated into your living space.
For dogs, I carefully consider coat colouring, texture, and personality when planning backdrops, lighting, and styling.
For cats, their natural grace and elegance are highlighted with soft tones and settings that reflect their poise, and if your animal is younger and more playful, we can create some more whimsical portraits to reflect their character.
For horses, I often photograph in Switzerland’s stunning landscapes, allowing their majesty to shine while ensuring the palette harmonises with your interiors. One thing I love more than anything though, is producing luxury studio portraits of horses, using my high end studio strobes, to really sculpt the musculature of your horse, and show off their amazing curves and shiny coat.
The result is not just a photograph. It is art designed for your home, made to feel as though it has always belonged there.

Bespoke Wall Art: Handcrafted in Italy
To ensure each portrait is finished to the highest standard, I collaborate exclusively with Italian artisanal labs. These ateliers hand-make every product to exacting standards, using methods that combine centuries-old craftsmanship with modern innovation.
Fine art papers preserve every subtle detail, ensuring your animal’s portrait remains vivid for generations.
Hand-stretched canvases are produced with archival-quality materials, maintaining colour richness and texture.
Luxury frames are tailored to match your home’s design — whether minimal, classical gilded frames, or stylish and modern.
This partnership with Italian artisans means your artwork is not only beautiful, but also of museum quality, created to last a lifetime.
Multi-image layouts designed to suit your interior decor and style.
A Luxury Fine Art Experience, from Start to Finish
Every commission is a journey, designed to be as memorable as the final artwork.
1. Consultation
We begin with a personal consultation. I take time to learn about your home, your interior palette, and your pet. These details inform the creative direction so your finished pieces will integrate seamlessly with your lifestyle. I will also ask a lot of questions about your animal, their behaviour, their fears, quirks and motivations. That way I can customise a plan, designed to bring out the best in your horse, dog or cat.
2. Photoshoot Design
From lighting choices to styling, every element is tailored. This ensures the look and feel of your photoshoot reflects both your animal’s personality and your home’s aesthetic as well as highlighting your animal’s unique personality. I will ask a fair few questions in the beginning to help me understand your animal’s personality, and what it is about them that you love more than anything…and this is what we aim to capture!
3. The Session
In my St Prex studio, or on location anywhere in Switzerland, the session itself is designed to be relaxed and joyful. Animals are given time to settle, ensuring their true character shines.
4. Artwork Presentation
Following the shoot, you will be guided through a curated selection of images. You can choose to see your photos on the same day after a 1hr pause, or a week later. I provide visualisations of how each piece will look in your home, helping you select artwork that feels both personal and timeless.
5. Delivery
Your finished pieces are delivered with the utmost care. I make sure to receive all art work myself so that I can inspect its quality first, before passing them on to you.
These is a large choice in terms of design styles and layouts for your luxury wall art installations to display your animal’s portraits.
For Those Seeking the Highest Level of Artistry in Swiss Animal Photography
Choosing fine art animal photography is not about simply owning pictures of your pet — it is about creating heirlooms. These pieces of art will hold emotional and aesthetic value long after digital files are forgotten.
My clients choose this experience because they want:
Artwork that honours their pet as a true family member.
Pieces that complement their home, elevating their interiors.
A process that feels as considered and luxurious as the final result.
This is more than photography. It is a celebration of your dog, cat, or horse, designed to live with you every day in the form of bespoke art.

Celebrating the Bond Between You and Your Animals
Ultimately, this work is about more than beauty — it is about connection. Every dog, cat, and horse has a story, and every family has a unique bond with their animals. My role is to translate that bond into something tangible, meaningful, and lasting.
When you walk past your artwork, you will not only see your pet’s likeness — you will feel the joy, the loyalty, the love you share. That is what fine art animal photography can achieve - it should be moving, emotional and tangible.
When my soul cat Louis passed away in December 2021, the only thing I wanted for Christmas was a large 1 meter high, framed fine art print of my boy, to add to my bedroom. He used to escort me to bed every night, and would always be waiting for me to wake up first thing in the morning, so I wanted to honour his loyalty and bring him back into that space in an honouring way.

Frequently Asked Questions: Luxury Fine Art Animal Photography in Switzerland
1. What makes your animal photography different from others in Switzerland?
My studio is Switzerland’s only fully customised, design-led luxury animal photography studio. Each commission is not just about capturing a portrait but about creating bespoke artwork that harmonises with your home. I work with Italian artisanal labs to produce museum-quality wall art, and every detail of the process is tailored — from styling the session around your animal’s colouring to designing artwork that fits perfectly with your décor.
2. Where are you based, and do you travel across Switzerland?
I am based in St Prex, a beautiful lakeside town between Geneva and Lausanne. Many clients visit my boutique studio here - I regularly have clients travel by train from Zurich and even St Gallen. But I also travel throughout Switzerland, including Zurich, Zug, Basel, Bern, Geneva, Lausanne, and the Swiss Alps. Whether you prefer a studio setting or a location shoot, I bring the same attention to artistry and detail no matter where.
3. Which animals do you specialise in photographing?
I specialise in dogs, cats, and horses. Each animal has its own unique energy, and I adapt my approach accordingly:
Dogs: Playful, loyal, and expressive — captured in a way that highlights their personality.
Cats: Graceful, independent, and elegant — photographed with sensitivity to their temperament.
Horses: Majestic and powerful — often photographed outdoors, using Switzerland’s landscapes as a natural backdrop, or using my studio lights on location to create truly majestic fine art pieces of art of your horse.
4. What is included in the luxury photography experience?
Your experience is designed to be seamless and memorable. It includes:
A consultation to discuss your home, interior style, and vision, to get to know your animal in great detail so that I can work out how to work with them in a sympathetic manned that will help bring out the best in them at all times.
A fully customised photoshoot design, tailored to your animal and décor.
A relaxed session in the St Prex studio or on location.
A curated artwork presentation, with guidance on selecting the perfect pieces.
Delivery of handcrafted artwork, with guaranteed professional work of the highest level.
5. How is the artwork produced?
I collaborate with renowned Italian artisanal labs that handcraft every piece to the highest standards. From archival fine art papers to hand-stretched canvases and luxury frames, each element is produced with meticulous care. This ensures your artwork is not only stunning but also durable enough to be passed down as a family heirloom.
6. Do you help design the artwork to suit my home’s interior style?
Yes. One of the hallmarks of my work is ensuring your artwork feels completely at home in your interiors. I take into account your colour palette, textures, and overall design aesthetic. I also consider your animal’s colouring and personality to create harmony between the subject and the setting. The result is art that looks natural and intentional in your living space. Each photo session is utterly unique, and while I have a distinctive style that I am known for, no two sessions ever look exactly the same, as your session is designed around you and your animal.
7. Can my whole family be included in the session?
Absolutely. While the focus of each commission is your dog, cat, or horse, many clients choose to be photographed alongside their animals. These portraits celebrate not only the beauty of your pet but also the bond you share as a family with them. Having been lucky enough to have my own special soul animals in my life, I know how important it is to capture the unique and special bond you share.
8. How long does a session take?
Sessions are designed to be relaxed and stress-free, allowing animals to feel comfortable. A typical session lasts between 1–2 hours, depending on the number of subjects and whether we are working in the studio or on location. I allow plenty of time so no one feels rushed.
9. What should I expect during the photoshoot?
Expect a calm, patient, and enjoyable experience. Animals are given space to relax, and I adapt my approach to their temperament — whether that means playful interaction for dogs, quiet observation for cats, or calm handling for horses. The atmosphere is always designed to bring out their true personality in the most natural way. I give each animal the time required to get used to me, my equipment, and the new environment, without rushing them….while using observational animal behavioural cues to help me construct the session around their needs.
10. How much does it cost?
Photography sessions are 150 fr during the week, or 250 fr at the weekend.
My fine art printing prices start at 540 fr, and my average client spend is around 1,000 to 1,500 francs. Some spend less than this, some spend a lot more, it’s up to you alone to decide.
11. How do I book a session?
Booking is simple. You can contact me directly to discuss availability and your vision for the session. From there, we will schedule a consultation, where I’ll guide you through the process step by step. Because each commission is bespoke, I recommend booking in advance to secure your preferred date.
